The SunPathExplorer an App for Topic 4: Sun Trajectory, which is a part of the Learning and Teaching (L&T) Resources for S1-S3.
The function of the SunPathExplorer to integrate the predicted digital information of sun path with zenith photo taken by camera equipped with a fish-eye lens.
The procedure to use SunPathExplorer include:i.
take a zenith photo with a fish eye lens (wide angle lens);ii.
import the zenith photo into the mobile App SunPathExplorer;iii.
estimate the camera FOV (Field of View, e.g.
160 Degree), and enter the FOV in the FOV field;iv.
map your zenith photo to the directions of the East, South, West, and North; andiv.
draw a circle to represent your camera FOV.Enjoy SunPathExplorer and locate the sun.
